Thank you Financial Samurai,

China was an interesting place to live. It was the first time in my life that I was a minority, very eye opening. The food was great. My favorites were BBQ river fish and Hot Pot. I even tried snake, cat, dog, camel, water buffalo and many more. The city I lived in was Liuzhou in the the Guangxi province need Hong Kong. The squaty potty were really interesting, I sure don't miss those :) Putting tp in the toliet is a much better way to go.

Yeah, I work alot. I'm still working over 80 hours a week with my pizza delivery job. The craziest time for me was a 2 year period that I worked 80 plus hours, took a full load in College, and courted my wife at the same time. That was nuts. I think that's when my gray hair started to come in.

I enjoy the passion you have with your site. For those who haven't been there yet it's Financial Samurai Check it out, you'll love it. Not being in the finance field its great to see Financial Samurai's take on it.

Keep up the GREAT work Samurai, I'll see you around Twitter world soon.

Jeff - Absolutely FANTASTIC post!!

I can't believe you work 70-80 hours a week for that long. That's incredible. I did it for the first year out of undergrad when I was in New York city, but i paired that down. Now, maybe I work 50-55 hours a week, which I think is quite manageable.

Which city in China did you work at? How was the food? I studied abroad in Beijing for 6 months back in 1997 and had a blast. The squat toilets were a pain though.

I'm very passionate about my site, that it could be borderline workaholic. Like you, i've got no advertisement, and I'm writing for the pure enjoyment of it. Sure, maybe I can make $12-24,000/yr from my site, but I want to just focus on the content and user base first.

Besides, there's not that many things I endorse. That said, I signed my first 3 month campaign starting this Nov 1st. Whoo hoo!

Thanks Vinny,

Yeah, there are just too many ways to try and describe everything we do. As least a Passionate-Workaholic would have a smile on their face :-)

Keep up the good work over at FinancialFreakShow.com
