Thanks for the tip. I love these razors but refuse to pay the regular price for them. I usually buy them when I can get a coupon from the Sunday paper but I will definitely try this method.

I tried this exact same thing last week, patting myself on the back until I got to the check-out and the register REFUSED to honor the $4 coupon because the rewards had already been used (the way the cashier insisted upon redeeming.) I think the problem is that Gillette is owned by Proctor & Gamble, and at Walgreens the Catalina coupon that is generated by a P&G sale clearly states that it is not to be used on a P&G item. I’m glad that it works for you, though. My husband doesn’t use them, and I just donate them to the church pantry anyway.

I’ve never gone to the barber to have a shave. Sounds cool. I tried to grow a beard a while back, but I just didn’t like being laughed at. I keep little bit on my chinny chin chin and that’s fine with me. Oh what, it’s fine with my wife. We all know the ladies choose how were are suppose to look

I recycle over 80% of the “stuff” in our house. The razors fall into the other 20%. I’ve never really though about the waste before, thanks for the heads up.

Here in Cairo I actually go and get Shaved at the Barbers about once every 4 weeks (costs me $2 a time and I wear a bear for most of the time)…. However I don’t recommend any of these plastic things for their price (although you have practically worked out how to get them for free!) and wastefulness (used to be a big Mach3 fan but can’t stand throwing all that plastic away)….

One way to get around this is to have multiple cards, or use friends and family as purchasers (mules). We’ve used my MIL before when we wanted to stock up. Great point, thanks for sharing.

CVS limits you to a set number of times you can get the reward per card. So, make sure you check the add for details before trying to get the deal multiple times.
