Thank-you for the welcome. 100% with all the compounding is hard to pass up, hence I didn’t Have my behaviour corrected, it just doesn’t make any since NOT to look long term now. Oh well, we’ll see who’s laughing when we’re millionaires.

Vinny was the first debt I paid off. I gathered up enough to pay in cash and not in fingers. Good thing too, it’s hard to blog with only 7 digits.

Excellent pledges, and welcome to the club! As for people calling you nuts for putting money into a 401(k) while you’re in debt, just point out that with a 100% match, compounding is sure to be in your favor in the long run. (Unless your debt is with a guy named Vinny who’s threatening to break your thumbs; then I vote for keeping all your joints intact.)

I was wondering when you’d get around to reading it.

I like the sounds of a blogger retreat. Being a millionaire will alway us to take a little time and enjoy life. I’m looking forward to it. Just look at J. Money. He’s taking a nice vacation soon, he’s not a millionaire yet but taking time to spend on memories is usually a great thing.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Brad. You can wish me the same on Nov 26. We are getting old, but I know niether of us feel that old

Dude! This post is brilliant man! I frickin LOVE it! I wish I would have checked this post out earlier. Great job man! Hi Meg,

Every time I think a 1 million dollars I think of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers. I can’t help it. So I figured the Dr. Evil picture and the reference to sharks with lasers would be a perfect fit when talking about being a millionaire.

As long as your number includes enough for a sweet ride, I’m sure you’ll be happy. Happy drifting….
I looked up the SCCA and realized I watched a SCCA event when I was in college. Pretty cool stuff. Thanks for the tip.
