@Single Mom Rich Mom, you are right. Most people are too "busy" to get a second job. But they are the first people to take time to bitch about their financially situation. It's funny how that works.

I'm working on ways to increase other income streams, my current streams don't have much growth. I'm in the upper tier at my day job and make a very good tip average for a delivery driver. Other sources are the quickest way to more income for me.

Kudos to you Jeff !
Most people I know won't do something as simple as working two jobs. If I can do it for over a year while being a single parent, I guess I don't understand what the problem is - unless it comes down to the fact that they just don't want what they say they want badly enough. I'm the same as you, it was very rare that I worked when my youngest was awake. Lots of getting up at 3 a.m. or staying up til 3 a.m. depending on my client's needs and deadlines.

The only thing I was wondering was whether you could make one or both of your jobs more lucrative? I honestly think you could retire - or have a lot of different options - in 5 years with your work ethic if you did that.

I think it's great that you don't blog until your children are asleep. That way they don't think daddy's just that guy in front of the computer. It sounds like you and your wife have a great partnership. I can't watch your video right now, and to tell you the truth I would prefer audio only as I am always on the lookout for something to listen to on my hour commute to and from work. Can you convert videos to also be available in audio?

@Suzanne Thanks for nice comment. The journey is actually a fun, I would have never thought would be the case. Having a great family is helps when sacrifices need to be made.

@James Teamwork is a wonderful thing. There is a show that my kids LOVE to watch called WonderPets. It's all about teamwork. I hope that my wife and I are setting good examples for my little ones, teamwork can make such a difference :-)

Thank LeanLifeCoach, yeah the TV isn't just taking away a lot of valuable time it's also making many people "larger" than normal. Ok, the tv isn't making them larger it's the food, but you probably see my point. There aren't many good things that can come the TV.
